Meet the Owner of BRC Remodeling Group
To close out Black History Month, I have the great honor of introducing you to the Founder of BRC Remodeling Group, Vernon Bryant. A young black engineer with a vision to not only remodel homes with integrity and quality, but who is passionate about giving back to the community and giving our youth a chance to do more with their lives and find the light inside them that needs to be uncovered for them to reach their true potential.
Vernon Bryant graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors in Science for Engineering. After graduating from A&M he quickly started working in the residential market and saw a need for contractors that delivered a product with integrity and high quality workmanship, especially in the Investment market. He has been working in the construction industry for 15 years and has worked on houses that range in price from $500- $1.5 million. His mission is to provide exceptional service to the Real Estate and Banking industry by transforming foreclosed properties into marketable units as quickly as possible. He is committed to establishing long lasting relationships with our clients by providing the highest level of professionalism, service response, and quality of workmanship.
Recently, we finished a house in the Historic District of Dignowity Hill. The house was run down and a frequent meeting place for drug deal. Many of the kids that would meet up in this house felt they had no other options and to fall back on. Vernon started a program where the kids could apprentice under our team and help remodel the home for sell. In doing so, the kids learned about their strength and potential as well as cleaned up the neighborhood from activities that were not benefiting anyone. Once the house was completed it was put under contract in less than a week. When we started the project we had about 12 young adults working on the project, by the end we had 3 that really committed to changing their lives and following through on the to completion. They realized that not only could they do more but what they did had value and others too appreciated the work they had done.
